Listening to some people arguing about Dems fudging the crime stats to keep the Gaurd out of their cities. That would not make sense as it would still give Trump team credit for lowering crime. 👍

I am somewhat skeptical of these numbers.
I don't know if there is some deliberate attempt to hide them by the blue states, (although, while it may make Trump look good, it also removes the high crime as an election issue). Or if it's just fake news (I don't think the official numbers are even out yet), or if removing criminal illegals and just appearing tough on crime has actually reduced it some, or a combination, but this much of a drop is suspicious to me.

Why would they fudge numbers lower? It still helps Trump's optics. I also questioned the validity, but either way, Trump looks like his polices are lowering crime.👍

I don't know that they would fudge the numbers, but I also don't know for sure that they would not. I only know that on the surface this doesn't make any sense.

Traditionally, every number is fudged except homicide, because in the case of homicide, the guy's gone, you can't really pretend otherwise...
