@Bernard I don't understand how people can disconnect themselves from what is going to affect them. It's like their survival instincts have been turned off and they are no longer able to think logically.

I think the whole concept of Nationhood and Civilization might need to be reconstructed from the ground up.

A Nation which is stable is at it's heart, made up of three classes of people:
First Class: The men who are sufficiently homogenous (ethnically and culturally) to be willing to fight to the death to defend one another.
Second Class: Their families, who they will fight to the death defending, but who cannot directly reciprocate.
Third Class: People who make Class 1 more wealthy.
I came up with it myself, and then tricked GPT into making a picture that I could write on.

If you don't like it because of the 3rd class, the problem with trying to remove that class is if you can't attract specialists then you won't have tech cities and you'll have a hard time competing... However, IMO only the first class needs to vote and serve in the government.

A group of related families forms a tribe. A group of related tribes forms a nation. Related means they are the same race. A nation usually forms a state to administer their collective interests. How they organize and administer differs by state.

That third class of multiracial people in your diagram is a characteristic of an empire or divide et impera state.

Culture comes from a structured nation that supports the culture bearing stratum. Culture builds civilization. When different races in a state inevitably start interbreeding, the people who formed the nation disappear, culture disappears, and so does its civilization. It has happened many times over, and those foreigners who are pushing diversity in our nation know this is a guaranteed way to destroy a nation.

1st class is "sufficiently racially/culturally homogenous that they will fight for each other". Families, tribes, whatever is required. The point is that they need to be this close.

They should also be the only ones voting or holding public office, because they're the only ones whose lives are on the line based on decisions of the state.

2nd class (families) can air grievances through their father/husband/son, and 3rd class are immigrants will flee if the state does not treat them well enough.

You want to get rid of the 3rd class entirely, I think a lot of people do, but countries which do that will struggle to be economically competitive because knowledge work requires migration of domain expertise. Think like El Salvador inviting American bitcoiners to go live there and start businesses... That's what we're talking about here, because everything exists in service to the 1st class.

When a nation imports foreigners to do the work they need, they experience a short burst of benefits but inherit long term problems, if not destruction. Look at the slaves brought to the US, Rome, or Egypt as examples. They inevitably start interbreeding with people of the nation to regress the stock, or they form nations within the nation creating other problems.

Great long lasting nations are extremely careful with foreigners. They only allow them restricted temporary visits.

There are no skills or jobs that White people cannot do. The same cannot be said of other nations who need our skills. in recent times, short sighted or malicious governments of ours have failed to invest in and protect our own people, leaving us to rely on foreigners.

@ShovelTrouble

Slaves are a curse, they always have been. The benefit the slave holders at the cost of everyone else.

The real problem for a nation-state though is brain drain. You generally want to take care of all of your citizens by redistributing wealth away from the most productive to those in need - if you don't do that then you have elders starving etc.

But if you do that, and I start a state which welcomes foreigners with means and offers them zero tax, I might draw away your most productive citizens. This already happens with places like Poland, which is fairly well administered, but still the smartest and most productive polacks move to the US to make more money...

Also happens on a different scale with places like Malta, Singapore, Switzerland and (formerly) Dubai drawing away high-net-worths from their countries of origin.

Another version of this is China, hiring DRAM engineers away from Korea by offering them 10x their salary at home. They did this to bootstrap a home grown memory business...

@cjd
I should have elaborated on the slavery problem. Slavery itself is not a problem for a civilization and can be good for it by providing the needed labor to support the top minority in the culture bearing stratum who advance civilization. Distributing wealth away from your culture creating class to the peasants does the opposite of advancing civilization.

The problem is bringing slaves of another race into your nation for short term gain and long term pain. The White slaves in the US, AKA indentured servants, had descendants who assimilated into society to form much of our present working class. The black slaves who were not sent back to their homelands degrade our society and regress our stock as they interbreed with Whites.

“I can conceive of no greater calamity than the assimilation of the Negro into our social and political life as our equal.”
-Abraham Lincoln

This phenomenon of people regularly moving to other countries for opportunity is relatively new. Yes some Europeans would move from the place of their origin for short term opportunities or to colonize new lands, but culture and civilization only advances under a tight knit society with common blood and culture. Multiculturalism is a lie because it destroys the culture of everywhere it is pushed. I have lived all over the country and many parts of the world and see now that I unwittingly contributed to this degradation and globohomo.

I recognize that capitalists don't care about the nations and civilizations from which they extract wealth and move people. They actually want to destroy nations to destroy resistance to their plunder. When those people who move are of a different race and culture, they generally degrade the host culture. Care must be taken to limit and restrict immigrant impacts to preserve nations, their cultures, and civilizations.

> The problem is bringing slaves of another race into your nation for short term gain and long term pain.

Yeah. Same in Romania, same in Ancient Rome. Having a race of slaves always ends up with a troublesome underclass.

> This phenomenon of people regularly moving to other countries for opportunity is relatively new.

Fast long distance communication and easy travel is new, but these are not going anywhere.

> Multiculturalism is a lie because it destroys the culture of everywhere it is pushed.

Yeah, open question is how multi-cultural does it have to be to be really multiculturalism. Founding America is multi-cultural because it mixed various Europeans together... That had mixed results (civil war still not settled), but it wasn't horrifyingly bad.

> They actually want to destroy nations to destroy resistance to their plunder.

Important point is we don't really know what a post-pax-americana world is going to look like. We don't know what it will be like when countries are no longer under secret pressure from CIA or whatever to act against their own interests...

I doubt we're going to see a return to the 19th century model b/c technology is different than it was back then. IMO more likely countries will become more like Fedi instances where people congregate around shared values.

@cjd
The founding of America was an interesting experiment in cultural blending and creation of a new one. It was very difficult with even very similar cultures (only north and western Europeans). It took several generations to settle and then start to form a new culture. The blending of these Europeans eventually produced some of the greatest people and could have evolved into a great culture had it more time to mature. https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/60145

What is now called multiculturalism in America since 1965 Immigration Act is altogether different where people from different species are rapidly thrown into a pot together. They will never be able to assimilate together, create greater people, or develop advanced culture and civilization. This type of mixing caused the downfall of many great civilizations including Egypt, Rome, and Portugal. In the short term, it supports divide et impera for tyrannical government, but it is guaranteed to cause disaster for the civilization.

America is already Balkanizing based on race. This is preferable to Brazilification to preserve our race and its greatness. This is the great battle we face.

@ShovelTrouble

> What is now called multiculturalism in America since 1965 Immigration Act

Right, but this is obviously malicious, so it's not meant to work...

The big question is what happens after the power that is imposing these malicious policies collapses, what amount of cultural exchange is actually natural and beneficial?

I think we just don't know the answer to that yet...
