@Xenophon @Silverwolf @TheTallMan @Deplorable_Degenerate @Bead @BigTLarrity @Omega_Variant @SapientPearwood @justnormalkorean Ammonites and moabites cursed Israel. Recall Baalum ? He was purposely called to curse Jacob. His descendants. They had no rights in the covenant given to Abraham. Not all of Jacobs son either. Israel is not all Jews. It was only a select group. Christ fulfilled the covenant. Unless they convert to Christianity. They have no hope.

My two cents

Genesis 15:18聽On that day Jehovah made with A使bram a covenant, saying: 鈥淭o your offspring I will give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Eu路phra使tes:

Ok, my next question is why God said in Jeremiah 31:31-34 that they broke his covenant and he would establish a new covenant with them if this covenant was still in place?

Then again it does say in 13:20 "Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant..." so that does seem to reference an eternal covenant like you're saying.

I know I was taught as a child that Jesus establishing a new covenant meant that the old covenant was complete. They would always follow up with Hebrews 8:13 "n that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." Which does seem to say that the old is vanishing away. They also brought up several different OT verses in which prophets or key leaders say that they had broken the covenant with God.

I honestly don't really know where I stand anymore on this, I know the easiest stance to take is Christ established a new covenant and that is all that matters but that would be dumb and would require ignoring the entire OT.
God made many covenants. God made a ra9nbow covenant with Moses. Did he break that?

The new covenant refers to the ending of the Mosaic covenant, not the Abrahamic covenant. It's blasphemy for a pastor to teach anything else.

This is the covenant they broke and it was replaced with the new covenant. And that new covenant CLEARLY says it is only with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

The modern Christian perception of God as the all seeing all knowing everything is quite a bit different than the way he is represented in EARLY writings.

In the Old Testament, he's represented as kind of a princess. Jealous that humans may rise to threaten his power. Making and then breaking covenants. Telling lies... etc.
