@lain i honestly think they were generally pretty good with detail, really. on the one hand they didn't take themselves too seriously (as the clip you shared shows 
), but the responses they gave in that clip, that i think was very genuine. like, it was never just word soup they babbled for example. at least in-universe the terms and sci-fi words made sense, and that's something i missed a lot in star trek tng for example
