4@rose The CEO is a gnome user. To be expected, along with complaining how expensive new phones and laptops are, and then you look at mnt prices.
@phnt @rose linux hardware is always funny to me. They'll market hardware to brokies and then will charge comically high prices
They're not buying frameworks...but dells

@3 @PurpCat @rose First step would be to make their products available and in stock. I've been trying to buy their DevTerm for probably half a year and every time I check, it's out of stock. Second step would be to take the DevTerm and make it slightly bigger to accommodate a usable keyboard that isn't hard to type on. Third step would be to deliver their products faster than 6 months after order.
After that, maybe make something like the DevTerm, but with a screen on a hinge like a laptop.

@phnt the devterm is all but discontinued, moving forward they seem to be focusing on the uconsole with cm4/5 and the picocalc. you should see if you can find one for sale on the forums if you really want one
@3 Yeah, sadly they probably won't sell it again and the uconsole is meh with its form-factor. At least to me.
At some point, I might buy a used TI Silent 703 portable terminal (picrel) and replace the printer mechanism with a screen and a small Pi. They are noticeably larger, have a larger keyboard than the DevTerm and aren't going for high prices either.
