IMO companies should let their employees out to vote, because heaven knows unemployed people all seem to make it there, and if companies don't let their employees vote, they can't be too surprised when the "steal all corporate assets to give to the poor" candidate wins.

I think that we need to get away from the idea that putting a paper in a box is the actual GOAL of government, and it doesn't matter what the country is like as long as everyone is able to do that ritual.

I would much rather live in a well run country where I can't vote. Than live in a basket case of a country which nonetheless does hold an election every year.
So when I consider something like voter ID, voter registration, additional paperwork needed to vote, etc.

I'm do NOT care if it "disenfranchises" anyone from their "right to put the paper in the box", what I care is whether decisions end up being better quality or not.
