@cjd @bronze There were some cool design styles in the 30s and 40s, but unfortunately they had other flaws or economic conditions that kept them down. They also had the post war baby boom that made them impractical for the large family. 1940(?) Mercury town sedan:

@Dudebro @Bunsen It is my opinion that the expansion of The Roman Empire, with its logistics and roads, was divine providence to allow for proliferation of The Gospel. “The Jews” were prophesied to reject Him, and most of those in power and the climbers and strivers who knew better did as well. If it hadn’t been for Rome, the temple leaders would have found a way to do it themselves, although prophecy (psalm 22, see my pinned post) suggests it would be a strong occupying force.
@cjd @SuperSnekFriend You’re supposed to have bacteria in there too. Hence the “sour”. Bacteria and yeast together like in kombucha or sour beer.
@SuperSnekFriend Got the mixer. I think I need to get a starter on account of the natural molds in our area being so strong. I might try seeding with some kombucha solids, since that’s a bacteria and yeast mix.
I should get the Mrs to make a sourdough loaf today.
