What we're seeing now is evolutionary pressure. Bloodlines that are compliant and trust authority are getting swept out of the gene pool.

What's really interesting is how sometimes apparently eugenic strategies turn out to be highly dysgenic. And strategies which appear to be kind of stupid turn out to have much higher survivability.
Consider how much shit Europe tolerates with the violent migrants, terrible energy policy, and all. But these are 2000+ year old civilizations we're talking about, they don't last that long by being dumb...
On the other side of the spectrum, you have a country that seems to play the geopolitical game as hard as you possibly can: Israel. But that country is 78 years old and it's a coin toss whether it will even last it to the end of this decade.
