@sun @graf @BobsonDugnuttHB @augustus It's a methodical first person RPG with shooting bits. Lots of investigation and "lore" to read. It is by no means Quake. The patient man acquires fewer gunshot wounds. It's definitely a very good game, but fun is in the mind of the beholder. I think having external sources confirm your worst imaginings about the reality of the world is more distressing than fun, but that's just me.

@thefinn It could be 110% off, and I wouldn't want their shit on my account.
@TeaTootler @graf I once made gravy with the drippings from a smoked brisket. The flavor was 200%. Imagine making the roux for macaroni & cheese with that.
@Fash-E Zane is best Ninjago. The man of steel, with a heart of gold. And I'm too old to be a fan of the series.
@IAMAL_PHARIUS AKA how property taxes work in the US. City wants more money? They declare that your adequately-maintained hovel is worth six figures.
@graf After that redditard gave up the Starcraft source code, the idea of low-cost remasters and source ports went away.
@Lbabinz I've got a real one that costs me $0.00 annually to play (collect dust). Works perfectly, ribbon cables modded so they won't break loose, and new LED arrays, so no dead lines.
Too bad I can't send it back to when I still gave a damn.

@graf Been up since about 3AM EST, then worked 12 hours starting at 7AM. The older you get, the less sleep you need, not that you stop craving it. That, and I haven't beaten my body to shit with good times.
@phnt More's the pity that every user-run tech help site has been shat up with horseshit "fixes" and malware for well over fifteen years.
@phnt This is barely an exaggeration. A few years back when I was trying to determine if there was a straightforward method to set custom icons for drives, I found a Microsoft support request from someone looking to do just what I was investigating, as they wanted a way to visually identify network drives based on which system or building they were in, online or offline. Microsoft's retarded support told them to change the general hard drive icon.
It took me fifteen minutes of thinking and poking through the registry, but I found a simple-ish way to do it. Lamentably, the support request was a decade old at the time, so I couldn't really help anymore. I put the instructions on my website, under Win95 Tips and Tricks.
