Looks straightforward, using parabolic mirrors for the heating process.
One can double tap the mirrors to drive Stirling engines for at least some electricity generation in those areas that don't have much regular wind...

To distill water, you just need a hotter part and a cooler part. The hotter part needs to be 212 F but only IF your still is at atmospheric pressure. If you pull a partial vacuum then this number drops, which is pretty convenient if you're using solar.
