"I do not like that the 2020's are forcing me to become like a computer & tech enthusiast simply to have an ordinary computer experience without invasive AI or ridiculously hand-holding "security" features"

The algorithm is assaulting me today.

If nothing else I can say VS Code is one of the last Microsoft products that seems to actually be not total slop and does what a power user might like. Whether real programmers use it though is beyond my ability to assess.
