@bronze I hate the obsession with cars which is primarily concentrated among dumb fuck boomers. Their love of classic cars is retarded and hypocritical considering they're the same people who sent most of the used cars to the junk yard over the past couple of decades driving the prices up to nearly unobtainable levels.
@wgiwf @bronze For me, for my entire life, cars have always served one purpose. A to B. Anything else just doesn't appeal to me and is borderline beyond my comprehension. Aesthetics, racing, etc. Mysteries to my autistic mind.
Funnily enough I keep my vehicles perfectly maintained. Unless it's cosmetic damage, which has never bothered me. Taking a key to a vehicle I own would probably be the least offensive 'offensive' thing someone could do to it as far as I'm concerned.
And yes, boomers' disposable income allowed them to be extremely irresponsible with 'land yachts' which I frequently see for WAY below their asking price. I've considered purchasing one just to have as a backup home or for friends to stay in.
It's weird to me how they view campers as depreciating asset at a time when younger people are desperate just to get and keep a roof over their heads. Hopefully boomers stay that ignorant about it.
