@snacks @niobleoum @bronze He easily could, but blocking a whole lane would piss almost anybody off. The driver should have overtaken them by going into the second lane and they should have fucked off to the side of the road like anybody sane would do. That's what I mean by acting they own the road.
The other way is for cars traveling in the opposite direction, the double yellow straight line are there for a reson.
It is illegal to cross it.
So no the driver can't just switch lane.
He screwed his life by running into the cyclist though. We have lots of such cases here. Cyclists overtaking the roas acting like little princes.

Didn't even notice that, so yes in that case, they should have absolutely went to the side markings.

As someone with an actual driving license it was the first thing I noticed. Roads with double straight line often have limited sight and a lot of traffic.
But yeah. I would have crossed the double line. But not until making sure that no police were around.
The one bicyclist that fell down. Even as the car was honking they all refused to give way.
They are so dumb. One of my friends nearly died while bicycling in traffic, a car driver didn't see him.
You can't just bunch up motorcycles, is there a specific way bicyclists are supposed to ride in traffic?
