@Velveteen personally I'm moving over to the Japanese PS2 port of Resident Evil Outbreak. It's easy, you only need an import console, copy of the game, and network adaptor. Then just connect to the fan made outbreak server resurrection, create an account, and join me ingame.

Communication is only via the pre-determined com phrases, but I find that's more than enough.
