do any of you TTRPG-heads remember 5etools?
Nice utility for Dungeons & Dragons
I used this a lot as a novice DM (novice because I still played DnD instead of good RPGs)

I distinctly remember being able to run this locally by opening the main html file but pic 3 is what the site says I need now.

Did I Mandela Effect myself?

@WandererUber I've run 5etools with npm, but I seem to recall doing it via html previously. That said, I might be confusing it for running Wizardawn locally... Which also needed a server running. Perhaps it was a third locally hosted rpg info thing I'm thinking of?

@JedKron1248 I mean you're the third guy including me that remembers running this by opening the html, so I don't think it's that.

I for one distinctly cannot remember ever installing npm for this shit, so either it worked or I just always went to a webhosted version. But I doubt that, I feel like I wouldn't have 10 different versions of this thing scattered across my drives if that was the case...
