The original principles of the Civil War were that those in the North opposed the African ideology of slavery while the Southern elites were addicted to the means by which they oppressed poor Whites.

It was only when the North had the moral upper hand, when it came to foreign relations of the Europeans, that they openly denounce the Confederacy’s addiction to African norms and crushed the rich elite’s, due in no small part to the poor White Southerner’s help.

The reality is that chattel slavery was alien to our culture and those elite who benefited by it were an alien-influenced cancer that had to be culled.

And it was culled.

>Some are collective rights and some are individual

Not properly understood. The Bill of Rights was declarative and restrictive on the government; the 14th, just applied that on the states.

The worst SCOTUS rulings involved government power, and not strictly speaking, the Bill of Rights.

The three worst, IMHO:

United States v. Butler, 297 U.S. 1 (1936)

Wickard v. Filburn, 317 U.S. 111 (1942)

South Dakota v. Dole, 483 U.S. 203 (1987)

Reverse those decisions, and the centralized rot is limited.

After? It was schizo well before that.

An AI trained on all the different types of feminist literature would be like a female version of HAL 9000 hell bent on killing all other feminists in order to fulfill the Critical Gender Studies goal of feminist.

Might be fun to watch, honestly.
@sun Back in the day, Heavy Metal, D&D, and… day care centers, were all considered tools of Satan. While Metal and TTRPGs were largely spared the legal attack, far too many innocent people who just ran day care centers had their lives destroyed and spend decades, in some cases, in prison for crimes they didn't commit.

I could point you to some amazingly batshit "Satanic Panic" videos from way back then, if you dare.

The low Martian gravity actually makes it a bad choice for long term colonization.

Floating city ships (buoyed by oxygen and nitrogen as lifting gases) in the atmosphere of Venus provides near Earth gravity, 1 ATM. of pressure and Earthlike temperatures. The heavy atmosphere even protects from cosmic and solar radiation.

Speaking of that part of the Periodic Table, it's kinda weird how bismuth is so completely innocuous while everything around it is toxic. Heck, it's the main ingredient in Pepto-Bismol. All that while technically being 100% radioactive (abet with a half life a billion times longer than the age of the universe).
