Really if Trump wants to go in on the ground he needs to start a draft soon because unless going with a Zelensky special the draftees will need some kind of training. Waiting till post mid terms for a ground game and the world will just be used to no gulf oil and all the US aligned regimes that need that oil revenue might all be gone.
