would not for a second think the government is not storing DNA of every child born in at least the last 10 years. you would shock me if you proved they didnt

In Canada for a while, if you were convicted of a federal offence regardless what it was they took your DNA and registered it in their database. Not sure if they still do it but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.
