Indeed there is, and Summerof68 doesn't seem to comprehend that parents can teach their children instead of the state---and some kids will figure out how to get into trouble despite their best efforts and what restrictions parents and the government impose.

This is not about the children, it's a distraction for the real purpose--control and censorship

I wouldn't compare us because we are not much better--Hello, Ontario, Alberta and other conservative led provinces underfunding education.

🇨🇦 Canada pay attention because I am noticing the same here.

When a country like the US constantly votes for lowest taxes, their education system becomes a failure, now 54% of Americans read below the grade 6 level.

Without adequate reading skills. one can't learn critical thinking and without it, minds are easily manipulated.

If you think about it, and though it took decades, voting for lower taxes resulted in poor education-all Americans voted for Trump.
