@CapitalB well, it might fly in Europe, both EU and non EU states, definitely in China and such, but something tells me they'll have a real hard time selling it to the US. The NSA is not about to give up its ultimate say on who can and who can't use the interwebz and spying possibilities, so there's that.

An average single family house in the US is basically a bunch of plywood, gypsum and cardboard, so how come people pay out of their asses for that shit? What's the deal there? Your average American can't figure out that it literally takes two guys who know what they're doing and one summer vacation to build something like that? 🤔

@cjd if I were to advise young people, I'd just tell them to get their hands dirty. Learn welding or something else that's actually useful. I'd also tell them that this "you can be whatever you want to be, just take a loan and go study" stuff is pure nonsense. But I'm a known misogynist and a drunk, so what do I know ;)

Easter is the most confusing christian holiday ever. Think about it: we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ by painting fuckin' eggs and having a goddamn rodent hide them, because, reasons, I guess.
What's the deal here? 🤣🤣

<<Trump news at a glance: president makes fresh threat to pull US out of NATO>>

You know what, folks, I'll just say I out loud: the man's being a narcissistic gaywad and an ingrate at this point. I mean, if the US doesn't want to be a member of NATO anymore, that's cool. Just withdraw from the treaty and a that's it. But saying that the other NATO members aren't doing their job here and presenting it as the reason is just insulting.

@dictatordave you're not wrong. The US alone is half the military force the whole NATO has (not counting the nuclear arsenal, because then it's like 99%). Still though. NATO is a defensive alliance, or at least that's what the treaty says. Nobody attacked the US this time around. And on top of that, when the US was actually attacked and the article 5 was invoked, everyone was there. I would know - I got deployed to Iraq because of 9/11. The US has yet to do something like that for other members
