7how much per ship?
A cool 2 million USD
This is maximum tin hat stuff here, but I have to say - the level of unhinged posting is starting to give me Pro Wrestling vibes.
It's 13.7 mil yuan, but the point is that it's a direct attack on the petrodollar
That equates to about 2$/barrel, which is very cheap in terms of the global oil price.
IMO at this scale, it's not really upsetting anything.
KSA is pumping oil at a cost of about 50$ cost to them and selling at around 100$ so the other 50$ is getting pushed into the US stock market (minus 2$ for the toll), so basically Iran shaved off 4% of the petrodollar revenue stream.
IMO letting them make a bomb is a way bigger deal, because the global consensus is that you never attack nuclear powers, so they would be safe forever.
