@Meemoo There seems to be a method to what Iran is doing. They’re attacking the entire gulf region with drones and older missiles and in the process identifying and destroying US missile defenses that have been amassed all over different countries within Iran’s missile range. They’re taking out those defenses because 1.) Iran knows its hypersonics can strike Israel at will, and 2.) Iran is ultimately expecting a US ground invasion. If they clear out those peripheral defense batteries and US bases with older and less-valuable missiles, then Israel and the US naval ships in its waters will be vulnerable to their advanced and powerful missile systems. Iran is prepared for a long war, Trump and Netanyahu were pinning their political survival on it to being over this evening.

I se that Gavin Newsom is back in full delusion mode, believing he’s the heir apparent in the wake of Trump’s nonsensical rambling at the World Economic Forum, and Mark Carney’s faggoty appeal to fellow pantywaists of the world to band together with Leafistan so they might all collectively get stuffed in lockers and toilet bowls less frequently.

I repeat, Newsom is too old, too white, and too “privileged” to win the Democratic nomination. That family picture of him and his blonde kids alone will alienate him from 90% of the voters he needs. The only thing Newsom has going for him is that he’ll be backed by Nancy Pelosi’s fortune. Whether she is willing to buy him the nomination like Hillary Clinton ended up have to do for herself in 2016 remains to be seen, but that could prove explosive in the deteriorating American political climate and might actuate a 1968 style civil war at the party convention.

This will be an unpopular take, but if the Democrats fall down into infighting between the young and radical AOC/Mamdani brownoids and the Newsom/Pelosi old whites, the chances are much stronger than people think that JD Vance could quietly glide over the chaos and win the presidency in 2028.
