Trump can declare victory? Yuh and when the next drone wipes out another oil tanker, what does that mean for Trump's Victory?

And he doesn't even understand the real failure scenario. He's talking about the Iranian regime considering that it "wins" if it hangs on... What if it doesn't?

What if the regime collapses, who takes over?
You wanna know who? It's gonna be whoever is able to captivate the Persian spirit. Basically, whoever has the biggest balls.

If you think they're gonna want to end the war, you'd be out of your fucking mind. And even if they want to, they can't, because their entire ability to lead is contingent on them not looking like a pussy. If they start talking about peace, the next guy is gonna say "screw this loser, we're wiping Israel off the map", and just like that, he ain't gonna be a leader anymore.

Once Iran switches into this mode, that's it, there's no way out. It's Afghanistan all over again, but with the Hormuz closed for - probably - the rest of the decade.

BTW, when you start seeing stuff like this, the correct way to read it is that the current leadership is WEAK. And by weak, I mean they are at risk of losing their leadership position.

So they're not asking for things with the idea that it's gonna be realistic. They're sending a message "we have balls the size of grapefruit, we're gonna fight this to the last man", and that message is for the Iranian people, because wha they're actually worried about is that they're gonna get replaced.

And if they go soft for even one second, the next guys are gonna come in and grab leadership away from them, and they're gonna be EVER MORE hardline than the last guys were.

And NOBODY can stop it, not the Americans, not the Israelis, and not the Iranians. It's a socio-political equivalent of the Dr. Strangelove Doomsday Machine.
