9The world got a lot more retarded the day retarded people became convinced formatting their retarded thoughts as thesis statements would make them less retarded.
That guy banned my server after I made a fool out of him by proving that "There is only one race, the human race" constitutes a denial of Darwin's theory.
Spiritually speaking, I'd consider myself an agnostic, but two millennia of history has shown us that Christianity produces the best civilizations across the board. Therefore, I support Christianity remaining the dominant spirituality in the western world.
Traditionally, Christians would go and build missions in foreign lands to spread the word, they did not import foreigners into Christian lands. The church was brought to them, not the other way around.
I would say Christian teaching makes really good followers, top leaders though need to be a little bit more system thinkers. Machiavelli's Prince kind of thing...

3I'd say Christianity's spiritual framework is dynamic enough to provide a beneficial common morality while not being so culturally stifling that it represses innovators and out-of-the-box thinking. The Vatican's historical role as both an archival guardian of human knowledge and patron of scientific advancement cannot be understated.
Not an endorsement of the current sorry state of the Catholic Church, to be clear. The modern Vatican is a disgrace to its history.
It was a mistake to allow rocks to think
