Potentially a positive outcome IF they give the AI a basic objective like "find the best person for the company" and the AI is not stupid.
Both of them are big "IFs", but I think it's harder for management to literally write a prompt saying "fill this company up with useless diversity hires", than it is for them to hire people who talk about "best person for the job" but do that anyway...

@cjd @geistigbehindert it's a good point, but the guard rails will be there in a "take systematic racism into account" variation.
It's not just the HR "peoples" fault. Those directives always came from above for the bigger part.

AI theoretically does what it's told, but no human worker ever does. Every office is LOADED with office politics, management is never as much in charge as they pretend to be...
