This has been the trend all over. Progressives are winning because they offer something better than the dinosaur Democrats and MAGA. Mamdani's win just proved that, and Nithya Raman will prove it in LA in June.

It really gets under my skin the way that any political disagreement I have with Nyx turns into her saying I'm a Democrat. If I so much as reply to anything that's not in complete agreement, then I'm a Democrat and a liberal and Democrats are bad and so I'm bad etc.
And then like 6 people from xnfm I've never talked to before like her accusations, so it feels like rumor spreading.
I have been pretty damn open about my transitions between being an anarchist for most of my online presence and then now mostly being a Marxist even if I don't speak much on theory, never once have I ever said I'm a Democrat past voting every 4 years. It's just so dishonest and really pisses me off

@nyx It is certainly shit that Kansas pulled that stunt, but they can be sued into the ground, it can be legally challenged, and those individuals aren't being rounded up and can come to any blue state where this isn't a risk of even temporarily happening.

@nyx I'd rather not live in a country that's 30 years behind on gender matters. The Soviet Union in the 1920s let you change your ID and birth certificate with no conditions, believing that just supporting trans people leads to the best outcome and that's reflected well in the US today. There's simply zero reason to compromise, if I have no intention of SRS then that fake respect offers me nothing.
