KDE shell extensions being a pain in the ass to register.

This together with KDE being nearly inoperable on a fresh install makes me just want to give up on it entirely.

You can blame it on the VM but every time I've installed it it's behaved equally as badly on bare metal.

@RustyCrab I'm sorry you feel that way, have you tried not having skill issues

@benis_redux im not as demotivated by the skill issues as i am my desktop becoming frozen solid for 2 minutes every other time I resize a window

@RustyCrab I don't know what you're doing to your system but rest assured this is not normal

@benis_redux thats what i was told the last 10 different computers with different hardware configs i installed KDE on with completely vanilla spins. Never once had a single issue like this with gnome

@RustyCrab what are you even doing to it?

@benis_redux literally absolutely nothing. Just install fedora kde spin, kubuntu, whatever and just tru to usenit like a normal desktop and i always immediately encounter some dire issue like that

This time its installed to a vm but like i said it doesnt tend to behave any better on metal
