This myth is still floating around, so I'm gonna reiterate please don't use milk on your eyes for teargas or pepper spray. There's a reason we put clean water in industrial eyewash stations. We do not specify milk. Stop.

@feld @CedarTea Severed body parts are packed ON ice, not IN ice. Collect even the mangled bits. Essentially, you want to keep them cool. Not give them frostbite.
