Also, speeding up the CMVP (FIPS 140 validation) processes. That’s how you know the rush is real.

Is it a rush to add new crypto, cause quantum computers finally show up,
or, is it a rush to remove known reliable non-pq crypto like ecc?

Given pushes around forced id-collection it feels like later. Cause I haven't seen pictures of actually running quantum computers.
