@georgia doesn't keepass have a sync folder thing

@georgia apparently keepassxc doesn't and i just keep persistently misremembering this from the original version

@georgia i think i avoid doing that method because if a network partition happens the results will be stupid. (ex. adding a password on phone, then laptop, both files are now wrong and syncthing can't resolve it.)

same thing used to be warned about by scrivener and novelwriter. many people do and get away with it for a long time. just don't ever have it open in two places at once or switch while out of sync

you will get keepass file conflicts that way

@icedquinn I like to keep a manual backup of files I sync with syncthing

@verita84 eh I know how to avoid file conflicts, just sync after every password

@icedquinn @georgia Oh! I had no idea, I've used both for years and never seen this issue pop up.

@realcaseyrollins @georgia it happens if the program is open in two places at once (both clobbering) or the dirty side of the sync is ever saved over (mutually conflicting versions.)
