@catmanmancat I'm taking the track light bar off the back of the durango today 😈 I have to fix Dodge's refusal to seal the unit and if you don't, water gets in and fries the LED strip

Why won't they fix? If it's not an after market part, what's the problem?
most manufacturers wont redesign a part if it's not detrimental to the operation of the vehicle or a safety issue. this is neither. it's just an annoyance. so until they have a class action law suit from the hundreds, thousands of people who have had this issue they will do nothing about it because they can sell a replacement light bar for 3000$ 3800$ with installation, shop time and tax
The funny thing about this is the design didn't change 2014-2026. 12 years of failures. When I get mine off I'll take a pic and post ITT, there's a giant gap between the lens and the casing
Can you hunt a pick-n-pull or check Lee C's Auto parts. They specialize in mopar's. They have an amazing YouTube channel. They buy a bunch of wrecked cars, part out everything but the motor and trans and then build one awesome vehicle out of all the wrecked ones basically for free.
I have one in the back I drove to Port Dover to pick up yesterday. 480$
