and what's even the point blocking a domain that has no ActivityPub on it whatsoever
huh. so it's good then that I have a limit that one post can't mention more than 10 accounts
If you ever make your own Linux distro, it'll be called Nicolinux, won't it?
take a train to Germany to spice up your experience
Phantasm, here's the documentation for how my groups/events work (that website is still WIP, it will be improved eventually)
https://smithereen.software/docs/federation/groups/
edit: realized that this is outdated, you can specify the location of an event now but it's just a free-form string
Phantasm, I strongly oppose the idea of using an Event as a top-level object. My UX requires that an event is a subtype of group, so what I do instead is I add the Event as an attachment to the Group. So this FEP can't be meaningfully applied to my version of events.
try ReactOS instead, recent nightly builds are so good they don't bsod on startup any more if you install a GPU driver, and sometimes the GPU will even work
nicole mikołajczyk @ fosdem, oh well. Too bad I can't participate
Ah yes, federated events, yet another thing that was solved by Smithereen ages ago 🙃
maybe it could at least add the replies collection first so I could load the damn comments on posts by misskey users...
but who am I joking, they didn't even fix the atrocious Cyrillic font in more than a year since I reported that
Smithereen has had groups for so long that someone from Pleroma even sent me a PR adding a parameter they wanted, so Pleroma would work better with my implementation of groups...
