I still haven't run into Fabled refusals, but I've run into Fable being "lazy" doing a bare minimum of research then making a "case closed" statement instead of remembering the initial direction of the research and continuing. gpt5.5 is way better at knowing what to do next instead of being overly rigid and giving up it seems
