@hfaust in my defense, i did the same things as Stark when i was a high schooler.

@tinosoft Yeah, people forget first dates when you are young kinda suck (in retrospective)

@hfaust Ones I've noticed from like years of seeing dates in animes are:
- Walked too fast
- Didn't compliment her dress or similar
- Didn't buy an accessory or even some other cute thing

@hfaust Also ironically one that popped in my mind while writing this was the advices Okarin got.

@lanodan There's also:

1. All conversation topics center around the person they have in common
2. He didn't offer her to try his parfait
3. He should have been playful when she tripped instead of telling her how difficult is to walk with those shoes

But to be honest, all first dates, when you are inexperienced, suck but at least you'll learn and maybe get a good memory or two out of it

@hfaust Yeah, it makes full sense as a first date to have some mistakes, plus well… they're a socially awkward party.

Like on the parfait thing, Fern could have handed a bite of her pancakes (and I guess Stark would have got embarrassed, which is always fun to see :D).

@lanodan Someone told me once a date is a waltz, someone has to lead the way.
