@Ree okay I had to think about how to find out that you are German. here's the best test:
someone posted attached on German Reddit asking how they should style their balcony. if you want to give them advice on what plants or things to put, you are not German.
the first and only valid German response is: "THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. THIS CANNOT CONFORM TO BUILDING REGULATIONS. THERE IS NO RAILING, IT NEEDS A RAILING!"
