Bitcoin was created privately because no government would have ever created anything like it.

@magicalthinking @cjd he just wants something like gold, where they can trade stuff off market, have private agreements, etc.
He wants dollars, because he has connections that allows him to borrow them. But when he gets them, he's going to quietly move them into things he can't easily borrow, because of course he will... But he's going to talk trash about those things because he doesn't want to be SEEN doing it...
