I was listing to the official DARPA podcast last month and they had the Lt. Col. in charge of the BTO discussing the Army's plans for a new ICU-in-a-box. The idea is a deployable ICU operating theater with robotic surgical tools controlled by AI that could perform emergency surgery on the battlefield and the entire time he was speaking my head just just filled with all the thoughts about how a jeet trained AI would fuck soldiers up.

I think AI would be great for some medical stuff but only with human oversight. Frankly I'd trust a computer over a jeet to diagnose my autism.
Someone did a study on this: GPT + Human was a little worse than human alone, but GPT alone was much better.

@cjd Yeah I have had family members go to doctor, doctor asking dumb questions why are your tongue so white, when fighting a bacterial infection, close to dying, family having to ask for a CRP test, doctor not understanding, coming back next day doctor saying they look terrible, need to go to hospital. Complete retardation
