👀 The what? How often is it mandated? What is the penalty for non compliance?

@nicholas @ai6yr its mandated in the rental contract, penalty is that you have to pay for “damages” if you don’t do it (mold)

@meowski @nicholas @ai6yr btw if you tell a german that 'lueften' is not a normal thing that everybody does they'll have an existential crisis

Someone must have studied the carbon cost of reheating the houses every day after opening the windows in winter, I'm surprised the Germans haven't banned the practice outright.
