If you go out and intentionally get in a fight with any armed man (law enforcement, civilian, or gang member), and you know that other person is armed, and then get shot, don't cry about it afterwards. To quote the great and wise Super Chicken, you knew the job was dangerous when you took it.

Neither he nor you are fighting actual Nazis or the evil empire. You're not Luke Skywalker or Harry Potter. You're not freedom fighters valiantly fighting in a noble cause. People in the country illegally are being sent home, especially those that have committed some other crime. That is a totally normal thing that literally every country in recorded history has done. But for some damned reason you people are so riddled with self loathing, so full of oikophobia and suicidal empathy, you are willing to destroy your own life, your country, and risk civil war to keep the invasion and colonization of your own country going.
