@wizardmanperson They got the color wrong on the Neanderthal, they were pretty white. A lot of the more masculine and hunter gatherer features like sunken eyes come from that DNA if I am not mistaken.

@nobullyplz @JustJohnny @wizardmanperson small correction, it's not pidgin. the place where she was found is called beachy head and was called that as early as the 18 c., that name coming from anglo-french beauchef as of the late 13 c.
it is convention in this field to name particular human remains for which the name is not known after the site of discover, compare for instance the h. sapiens variety cro-magnon, named after the site the first sample of them was discovered.
