@parker be warned my niggy you can lose a hand or fingers faster than you know what happened with a chop saw. i almost lost a thumb cutting a too-small piece of aluminum (long time ago)

there is a safe way to use a chop saw and that doesn't involve twisting or moving the work at all to cut anything resembling a curve
@parker for cutting sharp angles like that, what i do is make a jig with a scap of wood like a 2x4, (cut by hand with a circular saw or bandsaw) that has a notch at the back, and holds the work at the right angle. this way on the table saw you can use the fence and cut the desired angle
