@sun @genmaicha @joey @lain @newt @piggo He was obviously insanely charismatic, or he wouldn't have so many of the Western world's power players eating out of his hand like he did. I think that was his job, and he was an expert at it.

If he didn't have the connections of a large and much more powerful organization, he would almost certainly have been prosecuted and jailed a couple decades before. One lone pervert could never have managed the globe-spanning blackmail network by himself. Nor with only Gislane to help him.

I’ve been sure all along that he was an intelligence asset to build kompromat sufficient to control narratives in media, certain political topics, and thereby public sentiment. Nothing has changed my mind including about some people they courted and I believe did not step in it.

I think plenty of decent people resisted it but weren’t a threat to the op, but would be named in the files.
