my brother's basic shctick is to harass you to do something you dont want to do until you agree to get him to stop harassing you, then sit through a lecture about how he's better than everyone because he keeps his word unlike you

@p the big difference is, I tell you I'll make a best effort attempt and say so. if it's an actual promise I'll say "I promise". for him if he harassed you into agreement then it's a promise
