There are probably hundreds of books/movies/tv about men selling their soul to the devil and being eventually punished for their sins but I can't think of any about women.

@subnetter I think she was drugged and didn't know it. but she did choose to go through with the birth, but I think that's because she didn't want to kill her child even if it was evil
