the recoil spring is in the stock of the MG3, so if you had some dampeners, and high grade metal parts to fabricate with a CNC, and the technical knowhow, you could, technically... make a fuckable mg42
if any part of the DIY recoil spring dampening system fails the entire system flies with the force of half the bullet detonation or so right into your pelvis
