@Ariovistus @Oven_Operators_LU_88 the real costs of this will be in your food prices... and pretty much anything else that is moved into your vicinity with a vehicle.

10Moving next door to a dairy farm was one of the best decisions of my life :]
@cjd @Oven_Operators_LU_88 @Ariovistus milk from poland is still less expensive than milk that I can get from a farmer next to me... guess we need even higher oil prices for that to change
What's the neighbor charging? I pay 1โฌ/liter but I round it up a little (my bottles add up to 8 liters and I give him 10, because I'm happy to help him out a little)
@cjd @Oven_Operators_LU_88 @Ariovistus well when I say "next to me" I mean farmers who sell to the grocery store here. And who have less than 5kms of delivery to it. It's not as cheap as it could be if i'd know a guy but in theory it should be more affordable than getting it from poland. But then I look at polish salaries and then it makes sense again...
Ahh, I see. I swing by the neighbor once a week and say hi. Nothing like fresh raw milk...
@cjd @Oven_Operators_LU_88 @Ariovistus nah my actual neighborhood is all just normal workers and a dense forest. The places where you can keep cattle are actually pretty limited here because of the black forest terrain.
Oh, are you near Freiberg / Basil ? I went there once, super beautiful area.
Heh maybe, but more likely once fuel goes up and comes back down...
