I stay away from aromatics; less flavor + harder to dry. Sometimes I dry my tobacco in my food dehydrator lol. Pretty much had to retire my briars since moving out here, sadly. Corncobs still do okay when it's >95% humidity.

I like smoking the more flavorful tobacco at home with a corncob, but if I’m out and about or smoking in my car I prefer smoking aromatics out of a briar since the smell it leaves behind is never disagreeable to nonsmokers. do you think a meerschaum pipe would smoke well where you are?

I have 4 or 5 meerschaums. They perform better than the briars I brought over but the cobs are still king.

hard to beat cobs! you can abuse them as a daily smoking pipe and they will always perform

for sure, you don’t have to baby cobs like you have to with rotating out briars. I can smoke the same cob several days in a row and not feel bad about messing them up. my favorite corncob pipe is a missouri meerschaum cob with an emerald green stem

I can't join in the pipe conversation since I'm more of a cigar person, but I do like that keyboard of yours.

Oh, that's very pretty! I have a theory that cobs insulate better and therefore smoke slower. Is that a green theme with the keyboard as well?
