@lebronjames75 oh, but clang now does the same annoying thing as gcc and uses node->next when they are equal... sigh... https://godbolt.org/z/T3dfKfcr6
EDIT: wait no I can't read, the condition is flipped, it seems to do a right-ish thing
@lebronjames75 btw. did you know the author of that article and half of the people mentioned there are on fedi?
@lain
Deus Ridens impersonating world leaders to make the times more intresting? Really?
@domi
IME on fedi it's quite difficult to post to one group I'm a member of without posting to the other.
Also, if groups are enforced socially, wouldn't that mean people with low social skill will struggle to navigate them?
@domi
ad 2, I think there's a reason me and many others escaped from real life interactions into the internet as soon as we could
@domi
ad 1 I don't get which way you think is a drawback
@domi
sorry for replying then
@domi
I do have a tendency to reply even when I have nothing smart to say though.
Also, I'm definitely not cool.
Anyway, what I'd like to be able to do is eg. post 10 posts in a row about space rockets, such that the 2-3 people interested in those see them, but the rest of my fedi-friends don't get annoyed at the mention of SpaceX.
IRL at least it's possible to adjust your filter based on who's around. Can't do that on fedi.
