Natural Gas is such a dumb energy source.
It's incompressible bullshit that needs to be frozen to negative a million degrees to become liquid.
Otherwise you need to transport it in pipelines which need to be built out everywhere.
And the only reason anyone messes around with this dumb shit is because it's way cheaper than anything else.

It's more expensive.

@cjd It is the most efficient capture ratio of any of the combustion energy production methods at over 60%. I think they reuse “waste” heat now (sterling cycle?).

Coal has got to be close, but yeah. We just need nuclear, but building reactors requires being able to rotate shapes in your head, and we unfortunately live in a society.
