When these were originally written, they were considered fairly standard.

I grew up on "Beatrix Potter" and I'm pretty firmly convinced its antisemitic. The only question is, was it deliberately sneaking stuff past the filter, or was it "accidentally antisemitic" in the same way JK Rowling's goblins are, e.g. "You weren't noticing kikes, but your brain was".

He's been in the news recently, and Roald Dahl (PBUH) was also like this. In fact, he was so widely accused of being covertly or accidentally antisemitic (even before he said anything against zionism) that my parents banned him from the house.

Dahl was unapologetically antisemitic, despite needing a major firmware update on Hitler. Read his book about witches, where all the "hook nosed hags" literally have Yiddish accents

Rumor has it that Ben Garrison was drawing cartoons under Tom Metzger under the pseudonym "Wyatt Mann" before he became an insufferable turbo Boomer.

He still gets really butthurt when people edit his work.

City Island hate mail cartoon has origins in notorious ‘WAR’ white supremacist group

Antisemitic and racist hate mail cartoons received by multiple City Island businesses in recent weeks were attributed to the wrong artist and actually originate from an infamous white supremacist group, the Bronx Times has learned.

While the cartoon sent to the restaurants had Montana-based cartoonist Ben Garrison’s signature on it, the drawing is actually the years-old work of another artist called A. Wyatt Mann (“a white man”) who drew bigoted cartoons for a newspaper published by Tom Metzger’s White Aryan Resistance (WAR) group. Metzger was a white supremacist, neo-Nazi and Klansman who died in 2020, and archived versions of the supremacist group’s website described WAR as a network of “highly motivated White Racists.” Garrison’s name was pasted on the cartoon as part of a years-ago smear campaign against him.

When World Jewery abandoned Bolshevism for Americanism the Eastern Bloc became more antisemitic than the United States.

There was no state mandated / forced Holocaust education in the German Democratic Republic. Francis Parker Yockey, Wermacht Commander Otto Ernst Remer, and even Rockwell had similar nuanced views on the post-war USSR.

nitpick two: The communists imported Africans into Eastern Germany. They swept under the rug the rape of German women by Soviet soldiers. They discouraged all racism. Had they persisted, it is very questionable to say they would have stayed majority ethnically pure German. Western Germany at that time was similarly pure.
